Acceptable Use Policy
The rules for sending messages with Wavcart. They protect your customers, your number and sender reputation, and every other business on the platform.
Consent comes first
- Only message people who have given you permission to contact them on that channel
- Keep a record of how and when each contact opted in
- Honour opt-outs immediately. Wavcart stops messaging anyone who replies STOP until they send START again
Good sending practice
- Say who you are and why you are messaging in the first message
- Send useful, relevant content at sensible times, not late at night
- Make it easy to opt out and keep your contact list clean
- Use approved templates for business initiated messages on WhatsApp
- Start small with a new number or domain and increase volume gradually
Not allowed
- Spam, purchased or scraped contact lists, and unsolicited bulk messages
- Illegal products or services, gambling, adult content, weapons, drugs or counterfeit goods
- Fraud, phishing, impersonation or misleading claims
- Harassment, hate speech, threats or content that exploits minors (see our Child Safety Standards)
- Malware, links to harmful sites, or attempts to break or overload the platform
- Anything that breaks the policies of WhatsApp/Meta, Google (RCS), email providers or social networks
Sending limits
To protect numbers linked by QR code, Wavcart spaces out bulk messages and applies a daily limit that grows as a number warms up. These limits cannot be switched off. Channel providers can still restrict or ban numbers and senders that are reported for spam, that risk stays with the sender.
Enforcement
We may pause campaigns, suspend or close accounts that break this policy, without refund where the breach is serious. We cooperate with law enforcement where required by law.
If you receive unwanted messages sent through Wavcart, email work@thinksuite.in with the sender number and a screenshot.
